Eva Nelson Napaltjarri is a self taught artist who started painting in approximately 2003
while living at Willowra.
The main stories she paints are associated with Ngartajirri - a small green parrot. This
is her father’s dreaming and is associated with Carhudo, the country around Mount
Dennison, located several hours west of Alice Springs.
She also paints Ngapa (Water Dreamin), this story relates to the waterholes that are
located in her country. Eva currently resides at Yuelumu , which also known as Mount
Allen Station, approx 250kms west of Alice Springs in Central Australia.
