GULINGI FISH WANDJINAS --
There's a special fish at Bell Gorge that has a Wandjina in it. It looks like a black bream. When that waterfall stops running that fish knows its time for the wet season to start. The Wandjina comes out of the fish and turns into clouds. The Yarda (kangaroos) on the banks start to do a special dance (Djunba/Djunbra) all around the Gorge. That's the message for the clouds to let go of the rain. That's how the wet starts every year at Bell Creek Gorge.
