GULINGI TOTEM --
During the hot time before the wet comes the Ngarinyin will dance to help that Wandjina bring down the rain.
We call the rain Gulingi.
The artists make big totems for the dancers.
The men have to be strong to hold the totems for a long time during the big Djunba (corroborree).
You can see the raindrops coming now. That's the Wandjina bringing the Gulingi.
