WANDJINA -- Jacks first painting in February 2012 (after being sick following several strokes). I gave Jack some paints, brushes and some canvas. He was so happy that he could still paint. He had recovered from two strokes. He was very shaky. This painting of a Wandjina was completed at Numbla Nunga Nursing Home. It came back with some rips in it that I had to repair Jack said: 'This one doesn't have a story. I just wanted to see if I could still paint a Wandjina' This story was dictated by Jack himself at Numla Nunga Hospital, Derby, and is hand written on the reverse of the painting.
